The origins of the company date back to 1969. At that time, a small family factory was established in Tarnow, producing home-made pickled cucumbers in jars.
In December 1991, the owner purchased a modern production building in Zabno, a small town near Tarnów, after the bankrupt Telpod, a famous electronic parts company in the 1980s. After several months of adaptation and renovation work, production of canned cucumbers was launched in July 1992 already as a new Polish-French company, "Polan." Today, Polan is a modern enterprise, with 15,000 sq. m. of indoor space and advanced production lines, allowing it to produce an assortment of 100 preserves of the highest quality, at a world level.
The vegetable preserves produced in Zabno are available on the shelves of stores almost all over the world - from Australia to Canada. We have come a remarkable way over the past half century. We are still following it while waiting for the 100th anniversary of the
